How to level up your Dethrone skills at 110 with no gear at all

It is no secret that you need a ton of gear to be able to do any of the content in Lineage 2, whether this is a 106 area, a 105+ timed instance or Dethrone. In a nice turn of events they added the Dethrone stats, which can be leveled by any player of level 110 and above, even with the free gear that you get from completing the noble quest, at 100.

A few things to consider is that some areas inside Dethrone are PvP zones, so there is a good chance you will get killed, the upside is that there is no XP loss from PvP. Try getting some "My Teleport" scrolls ( items found in the Adena Shop or from Events) , so you can save yourself a lot of time from running around from one spot to another.

There is a total of 5 Dethrone Skills you need to level up, if you are not fully aware of the stats that are rewarded, the items you need and how this feature works, you can find a detailed guide here. I would suggest a quick read as there are some details that you will need to know beforehand.

Once you port inside Dethrone, you will spawn in Dethrone Village, which is a peace zone, head towards the Teleport Device, you can use the minimap to locate it easier. Regardless of the steps that follow, I would suggest you get familiar with the area, port around and explore Dethrone, you will be spending a lot of time here so its best to know your way inside the zone.

I would not say that the process is complicated but you might find yourself confused when you navigate around the map for each one of the skills the first few times. Now keep in mind that this is how I do it and there is a good chance someone else does it better or maybe you can find a more efficient way to do it.

There are 2 ways to do this, either go explain how its done by area or by skill, my personal preference is the latter so lets begin.

Fighting Spirit and Source of Fire skills

The "Fighting Spirit" and "Source of Fire" do not require anything from inside Dethrone to level up, so we will start with the "Source of Fire", which has a total of 3 ways to enhance, the first one is "Sealed Source of Fire", the byproduct from enchanting the "Fighting Spirit", the second way is standing still in the center of the Fire Base.

Source of Fire skill

You get there but teleporting to "Fire Base" from the Teleport device, then you need to locate a landmark, the weird folded donut mountain! I really do not have a better description for it! Head towards that, make slight left turn, head downhill, run across the field and up the path that will get you to the area that is often referred as the AFK zone.

You need to reach the circle as shown in the minimap, right before you enter the AFK zone, you will be transformed to a yellow mermaid, this will let you know that you are on the right path.

Give me a better name for the "weird folded donut mountain"... ill wait!!

On your way to the Fire Base, you will be transformed into a rabbit, this is the area used to summon the Divine Fires, keep that in mind you will need it for later.

You will also know that you are on the right place from the amount of people that you will see, this is a passive way to boost your character by standing still, this is a first in the history of Lineage 2 and for a stat that is really expensive, 40 element atk/def and 40 weapon patk/matk per level. for reference, the skill at level 5 is the equivalent of a "Top Opal lv5" and roughly an additional buff "Spirit of Eratone lv5", all that by standing AFK...

A healer is a must in that area since your HP decreases with the rate of 1000HP/sec and only a few classes with certain gear can get away without one, get in a party and stand there for the duration of the session.

You can also get heals when you stand near other parties healing but when too many people get close, this little trick no longer works.

Individual Dethrone Points

A universal currency inside Dethrone, used in purchasing items from the Dethrone Store, upgrading skills and also determining where you rank in the Dethrone Leaderboards, you obviously get points by killing mobs but since we are talking about less geared players you can also collect flowers that are located in the 120+ zones, which are PvP areas, now mobs there are not aggro, but you need to watch for players that are XPing, there are archer mobs that AOE and hurt a lot! If your character gets killed, you will lose XP and if you do not have a second toon to get a rez, you will have to leave Dethrone, return back on the server, get a rez and port back in.

The flowers that reward Individual Dethrone Points are practically NPC's, they do not have any hitpoints, you talk to them and exchange 500.000 SP and 1000 HP for points, you get around 280 points for every flower you talk to, if the area you gather flowers is empty, you can get up to 5-6 flowers per minute.

Any area 120+ has these flowers for you to pickup. If you explore the areas, you will know where to find the less populated areas.

This is what a flower looks like, you can make a macro "/target flower", there is more than one npc flower type but there are also mobs with the word flower so be careful when spamming that target macro. ( the mobs will have a health bar)

Fire Totem skill

The only thing you need to enchant fire totem besides the "Fire Seeds" that are a byproduct of "Source of Life" is Individual Dethrone Points to purchase "Spirits Soul Sealing Sphere". Upon opening the sphere, there is a chance that you get a "Spirit Soul" that is the item required to enhance the skill along with 4x Ether per click, now I have tested this quite a few times and on average, you need 180 spheres to get 100 "Spirit Souls" but since the amount of ether you can get for free is limited, you might not need 1800 Individual Dethrone Points on a daily basis, especially in the beginning. In the rare case that you just came back in the game from a break and you have Ether , you will need to farm all the points you can get for faster progress,

Fire Part skill

The most complicated skill of all, requires planning ahead, a lot of Adena for various items and unlike the "Source of Fire", you need to be frequently in front of your PC. This skill requires you to plant 3 "Divine Fires" every 25 minutes, then you need to enhance it and secure it from people trying to steal it.

For each summoning scroll you need 1500 Individual Dethrone Points and 1x Spirited Totem, which is a byproduct from the "Fire Totem skill", on average you can get anywhere from 27-30 of those per 100 enchants. The quantity is more than enough since the most you can use per day is 18 and that is with impeccable timing from the first to the last minute of each session and only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday that the total duration of Dethrone is 5 hours, a more realistic number is 15 Spirited Totems on these days for a total of 15x "Divine Fire Summoning Scrolls". The "Divine Fire Summoning Scroll" is used to plant/summon the Divine Fire, the process is completed once you enchance each one of them with an "Essence of Flame" and then secure it with a "Guardian of the Flame", both items can be purchased from the Dethrone store and cost 150.000 Adena each.

Simply place the items on the skill bar and use the items from there, as it is easier to find rather than opening your inventory every single time. One thing that I mentioned earlier is that in the area that you plant the "Divine Fires", you are transformed as a rabbit, while you are transformed you cannot use any skills. After 25 minutes, you receive a notification that the Divine Fire is ready to claim, the item you claim from the whole process is the "Holy Fire" and that item is used to enhance the "Fire Part" skill.

Lastly, for every successful enchant of the "Fire Part", you also get percentage on the "Source of Fire", and that is the 3rd way to enhance that specific skill.

How to utilize your time inside Dethrone

While inside Dethrone, you can do 2 things at a time, the one skill that you should be doing always is the Fire Part, so you can either Collect Flowers for "Individual Dethrone Points" and do the "Fire Part" or stay AFK and also do the "Fire Part", in any case it is virtually impossible to collect Individual Dethrone Points and be in the AFK zone, although one could argue that by doing the "Fire Part" you also gain some percentage in the "Source of Fire" but let me tell you this, its is not fast enough, 1 hour in the AFK zone at level 1, is just above 2% for the "Source of Fire" and 1% per hour at level 2. As with everything in the game it is not a fast process but its "free" progress.
