The number one question a player can ask is “Where to farm Adena” and although it is the right question, the real question is “What does it take to farm Adena and Where can I farm it“.
The answer to this is not as simple as one may think. You need gear to farm Adena and levels.. I know, but how can I get gear, if I do not have Adena? and How can I get more levels, if I do not have gear and Adena?
All very reasonable and logical questions.. Now most of us did not just wake up one day and decided to throw tons of money in the game, or had an insane amount of gear to begin with and started to farm all we can.
There are steps to this, even for simple things, things simple enough to the point that the answer is absurd but that is how most of us started. I have said it in previous posts, the game has never been easy or cheap. You need to have patience or money, with money you save time, with patience (time) you save money, so pick your poison!
There is a ton of content to help you starting or gearing up to a certain point which can be found here:

Lets begin with the locations that you can farm Adena. Disregard levels and gear, this is a boilerplate of the available amounts you can farm per area. There are variables that affect the total amount of Adena you can farm based on class or Adena boosts. Yes to those that are not aware, there are items that boost your Adena earned and while we are on the topic, lets visit them one by one.
1) Adena Artifact ( 7%)
2) Homunculus ( Green and Red Chorong) 8% (for Green) and 10% (for Red), there is also Hero for 14% Adena earned but that is for later on
3) Heavenly Talisman (+5 or greater) 5% adena
4) Dualclass skill 3% ( from Advanced Dual Class cerrtificates 107/109/110)
5) Oracle AP Tree 5% ( if you have enough damage to spec what is called “Adena Setup”)
6) Lv50 Tome 3% Adena, this one takes time to get. ( every 50 levels you get more Adena earned)
Now lets go back to the amounts by location. *
The “Primary” income location is in the “Timed Instance Zones”: -> Pantheon’s Museum
The Maximum amount of adena per Zone (with prestige) are:
105 Single Spot: ~300m per hour
110 Single Spot: ~710-740m per hour
110 Double Spot: ~1.4b per hour
115 Single Spot: ~800-820m per hour
115 Double Spot: ~1.6b per hour
120 Single Spot: ~ 2.7-3.3b per hour
120 Double Spot: ~ 4.3 – 4.8b per hour
Personally as a 126 fairly geared DK ( with no L grade items and full Adena setup) I can make about 10b Adena in 3 hours of Pantheon.
Lets go over those numbers. For people that actually buy prestige, it is rather rare to do 105, but I have to give out the amount that can be farmed there, it is also rare for people to have “Adena Setup” prior to hitting at least level 120.
One thing is for sure that the levels on each instance do not reflect the level of the mobs, it is just the required level of the player to enter, so for 105-115 mobs are 4 levels higher, 109, 114 and 119, while in the 120 zone, mobs are level 125.
It is very common that players that are 118-119 to farm in 110 zone, mobs are green, can do double spot, earn the maximum amount of Adena while using a Adena Setup and a Chorong, that is usually 13 – 15% more Adena and a couple more % from a Adena artifact ( if not +10) you are well over 15% Adena. Additionally, 110 zone has 6-7 double spots compared to 115 that has 2 or 3 if I’m not mistaken.\
Final math, an “average” geared player with a class like, DK/Hell Knight/Shine Maker ( possibly Feoh) or a “well” geared archer, can farm close to 5b in 110 Pantheon, and about 5.5b in 115 Pantheon.
A question that may arise is how to farm double spots, the answer is with a keyboard/mouse macro ( ideally from a Razer device) and Dead pets on the ground to move from one spot to the next. Double spots is not that uncommon, but in 120 zones people do not do them as that instanced zone has what is called, “hyper spawn” usually by the time you kill everything, mobs have already spawned back, so there is no point moving from the current spot.
Another adena location is in the “Timed Instance Zones”: -> Fiorens Crystal Prison
Although it is does not have as much Adena compared to Pantheon, it provides a fair amount of Adena and also drops Beoras Potions ( restores vitality).
105 Single Spot: ~55-60m per hour
110 Single Spot: ~150m per hour
110 Double Spot: ~270-290m per hour
110 Triple Spot: ~350m per hour
115 Single Spot: ~ 205m per hour
115 Double Spot: (never done it but I estimate) ~350-390m per hour
120 Single Spot:( hyperspawn, with adena setup) 700m per hour (2.1b per 3 hours)
Although the Adena drops, are insignificant, Jamoa’s Camp drops mostly Enchant Scrolls for ( Shirt/Brooch/Circlet & other peripherals) and then Crystal of Dawn, which can be sold for Adena
Roughly on 3 hour sessions ( calculated over multiple toons)
105 Single Spot: Around 4.5 scrolls per day and 1,3 Dawns per week
110 Single Spot: Around 7.5 scrolls per day and 1,3 Dawns per week
115 Single Spot: Around 9.2 scrolls per day and 1,75 Dawns per week
120 Single Spot: Around 18 scrolls and 1,9 Dawns per day ( usually translates to over 2b a day)
Very Level and Gear dependent, ToI is a 5 hour weekly instance, with the ability to recharge another 5 hours. Starts from level 116 all the way up to level 130.
I find the easier class to farm to be the Tank, good defense, tons of crit rate. I have tried DK, Tank and Titan, all of them 120+ with gear. In ToI there are no “double spots” so its a single spot every time.
Your gear really will determine what you can farm, for example, a stacked 120 Tank, with Adena Setup, can get close to 40b ( in 10 hours) in 116 Zone, the same toon, makes the same in 118 Zone, since mobs are tougher, need more element and to do more damage, I would have to switch the Adena items ( homunculus and AP Tree) which would result again on the same amount of Adena.
In 120 + Zones you can make about 42b + ( in 10 hours) and although the Adena increases for every floor, it also gets harder… This means crit rate reduction on mobs which really slows the process. Often the fact that you can kill does not mean more Adena, the concept is to 1shot the mobs, if you do not, you get debuffs, debuffs means slower kill rate which means slower Adena income.
For reference:
Floor 1 120 zone: 40-42b
Floor 2 122 zone: 48-52b
Floor 3 124 zone: 50-58b
Floor 4 126 zone: 60+b
My personal “best” is ToI Floor 2, 58b on 10 hours. This differs from what I previously mentioned but it comes down to hours of “tweaking”, making the best macro. Those numbers are the “average”, there is always a “better setup” or something, I may have not taken into account, or even I may have died in the process and made the numbers to be lower than it should.
*Disclaimer: I have done most of those with at least 6-7 different classes on all levels and with low-to-average gear, the math is based on what I have experienced along with figures I have gotten from people I have helped over the years.
In terms of “instanced zones” there are is Innadril of Crisis, no Adena drops but you can get cosumables and 100 Boxes that have a chance for certain rewards, ( its the same amount of boxes and rewards for every zone). Finally the Rift in Time, its about 2b every 10 hours in 120 Area and about 2.25b in 125 Area, weekly instance, has good XP and various rewards from opening Seal Stones.
Normal XP zones do not really give as much adena even with prestige, at best you can farm about 20m per hour starting from 108 zones and for every zone you get about 10% more. It has been a while, but the “max” you can get outside of new & harder zones (126+ Lizards/ 122+ Orcs) is about ~140m per hour.
There are still Aden Treasure Chest that drop in zones 108-114 and Shiny Aden Treasure Chest lv1 in zones 116-120 and in high level zones, 126+ Lizards/ 122+ Orcs, Shiny Aden Treasure Chest lv2 which have 70k, 200k and 300k Adena each. Those boxes also contain drops such as R99/R110 weapons/armors, bloody armor & weapon stones, silenite and many more items.
